Dear Mrs. Hudson:
Recently, I received a request from Mr. Ron Wallace, who is seeking election to District 3, which I currently represent. He has requested that a short street in District 3 be named in your honor for the work you have done in the district.
While I appreciate Mr. Wallace’s acknowledgement of your contributions and accomplishments, I am well aware of them as I grew up under you as a child and have know you since I was a child. It is certainly my belief that you should be honored for your work in the community. However, I feel that it should be at a level that is much higher than what has been suggested by Mr. Wallace. I already have something in mind and at the proper time I will make you aware of it.
I appreciate as always your love for your city and community, your hard work, your friendship and most of all your love for me as a person and your Council Member.
